Important to know ASTM based device interactions

Understands device workflows and integrations

Have exposure to robotics and device generated orders

Significant knowledge and experience in one product or solution or relevant experience in a group of products/solutions

Perform analysis of macro-level workflows related to impact of biomed device integration chnages in support of new or existing EMR implementation

Perform operational activities in support of large scale MDI implementation projects and programs requiring technical coordination between various integration services or business disciplines

Perform assessment activities which include identifying,assessing,designing,implementating and supporting moderately complex MDI integration intiatives across the enterprise

Builds and participates in test plan development. Acts as a resource during testing and upgrades;coordinates with appropriate individuals.

Good technology hardware and software competency

Collaborate on medical device integration reqiurements with clinical users, Laboratory information system

Assist with design of Medical device integrations Solutions.

Knowledgeable of the operation of and have Experience in the maintainance and repair of a variety of medical equipment and systems

Troubleshoot harddware and software to ensure data connections

Coordinate activities with device support personnel, technical teams and application teams

Develop of test data , system/ integration testing and documentation for all phases of the development life cycle

Ensure quality of device integration and application functionality

Ensure all existing and future medical devices comply with medical device security requirements to ensure protection of PHI

Document all work and projects in compliance with department practices

Develop simulators to test the medical devices
